D.A Overview
As a passionate photographer and roadtrip enthusiast, my D.A will showcase weekly road-trip and "insta-worthy" locations to my audience on my Instagram account @itsjamesmct, in the form of 2 still images and a 30sec video montage. Also listing my images on an online store to monetise this passion.
Research / Testing
I polled my existing audience on Instagram by sending a survey link to all accounts who have recently been viewing my stories or engaging with my posts - this audience group will be the most engaged with my audience, so I want to build my D.A around their requirements/interests.
I successfully received responses from 834 accounts, which is about 43% of my total audience.
I'll monitor and track the success of this project by analysing Instagram insights for my posts, while regularly engaging with my audience and asking them what content they prefer. As of filming on August 9th, 2022, my account had 1,952 followers. I will monitor and track this throughout the development of my bcm114 project, as follower growth is a strong indicator that I'm successfully retaining my existing audience, whilst reaching new people.

Keeping the idea of FEFO (Fail early, fail often) in mind, I am aware that my digital artefact will morph and change before the final due date and am excited to see this development.
